About Alissa
I fell in love with love
before I picked up a camera.
You are not just hiring a photographer, you are hiring a guide to help you feel at ease, have fun, and walk away with images that actually look like the two of you. I know what it feels like to be completely, madly in love with your person — because I am. My husband is my favorite human, and that feeling? That is exactly what I am chasing every single time I pick up my camera.
Welcome, I'm Alissa.
I'm a photographer, an artist, and a visual storyteller. I'm also a proud left-handed middle child, happily married, and fueled by a deep passion for creating vibrant, meaningful art. My path to photography wasn't just built behind a lens — it was shaped by more than two decades in the hospitality and catering industry.
Working in fast-paced restaurants and busy banquet halls taught me a skill that defines everything I do today: the art of making people feel truly seen, comfortable, and valued. That serving experience — reading a room, anticipating needs, putting strangers at ease — is something I bring into every single session. Whether I'm capturing a major milestone or creating a fine-art portrait, I use that unique blend of hospitality and creative intuition to bring out your genuine essence — ensuring you feel completely at ease while we create something beautiful together.
My philosophy
Photography should feel like a conversation,
not a performance.
I never rush. Every session has room to breathe, to laugh, to get comfortable — because the best photos happen when you forget I'm there.
I plan every session around the light. That warm, soft glow in the last hour before sunset? That's where the magic lives.
I don't have a shot list. I have curiosity. Tell me about your relationship and I'll find the frames that are uniquely, unmistakably you.
